Masjid Iman offers three Arabic classes for women over 18 starting in September 2025. The classes cover levels from complete beginner to advanced, and teaching takes place in the women’s mosque in the basement at Ølandsgade 1, 2300 København S. The language of instruction is primarily Danish, with Arabic used to varying degrees. A complete course lasts 8-10 months.
Level 1 — Beginner
Level 1 is for women who want to learn the Arabic alphabet from scratch. The teaching covers the alphabet, punctuation, and the formation of shorter and longer words. The goal is to be able to read and write simple words and sentences.

Level 2 — Beginner to Intermediate
Level 2 builds on basic grammar rules and important phrases in Arabic. The content includes basic grammar and relevant topics from everyday life. The class assumes that participants already know the alphabet and can read and write simple words and sentences.

Level 3 — Advanced
Level 3 is for women who want to further develop and maintain their communication and comprehension skills in Arabic. The teaching focuses on reading and analyzing texts as well as exercises based on the teaching material.

- Time: Fridays 17:00-19:00

Price and payment
- Members: 250 kr. per month
- Non-members: 300 kr. per month
If you start in the middle of a month, you are charged for the full month. Subsequent charges are made automatically.
September rule for new students
The first lesson serves as a trial lesson. New students do not need to pay for September until they have attended the trial lesson and wish to continue. If you choose to continue, September is paid manually via MobilePay transfer to the mosque.
Automatic enrollment in the next level
Existing students who passed Level 1 or Level 2 last semester are automatically enrolled in the next level and do not need to register again.

Cancellation and deadlines
Cancellation must be made no later than the 22nd of the current month. If cancellation is received after the 22nd, the following month will also be charged.
